Reporting to the Director of Social Impact, the Social Impact contractor will serve as the regional lead and implementor for Everpure’s social impact programs in the APJ (Asia-Pacific Japan) region.

In this role, you will localize global grantmaking strategies, activate employee engagement through giving and volunteering, and partner with regional leadership to elevate our social impact presence. You will bridge global strategy with regional execution, acting as a trusted advisor to key internal and external stakeholders. You will also oversee Everpure’s qualified distributions in compliance with the India Companies Act of 2013. This role has the potential to convert to a full-time employee after the initial contract period.

Key Responsibilities:

1. India Companies Act - CSR Giving

• Collaborate directly with India site leadership, legal, and finance teams to oversee India Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) statutory funds disbursal, ensuring full compliance with local regulatory requirements. 
• Proactively identify and evaluate high-potential non-profit partners and grantees aligned with Everpure’s core social impact pillars.
• Translate global grantmaking strategy into regional context, tailoring initiatives to local cultural, regulatory, and community needs.
• Manage ongoing relationships with selected grantees, overseeing grant execution, tracking measurable impact metrics, and building long-term collaborative partnerships.

2. Regional Volunteering & Employee Engagement

• Strategic Advising: Act as the primary social impact contact for APJ, liaising with local leaders, Pure Good Leadership Councils and cross-functional business units (e.g., Employee Experience, Sales and Marketing, Employee Resource Groups).
• Champion Activation: Build and nurture a network of employee champions in the APJ region to drive high participation in company-wide social impact and volunteer campaigns.
• Toolkit & Resource Deployment: Leverage and distribute the Pure Good Center of Excellence toolkit and framework to enable scalable, high-impact volunteering events in the APJ region.

3. Local Leader Liaison & Advocacy

• Executive Engagement: Partner with APJ business leaders to advocate for social impact programs, embedding initiatives into regional culture and business goals.
• Visibility & Speaking: Represent the Social Impact team at APJ staff meetings, site all-hands, and external community events to evangelize Everpure's social purpose.

Experience & Technical Skills

• Experience: 5+ years in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), with experience managing end-to-end processes for India Companies Act qualified distributions. 
• Compliance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of India CSR regulations (Section 135) and statutory compliance frameworks.
• Grantmaking: Demonstrated experience managing grant lifecycles, grantee vetting, and measuring impact outcomes.
• Regional Expertise: Strong understanding of the socio-economic and non-profit landscape in the APJ region, especially India.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven track record of influencing without authority across diverse, global teams (Sales, Marketing, HR, Executive Leadership).
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to synthesize global strategic goals into actionable, context-aware regional programs.
• Communication & Presentation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence presenting to executive stakeholders and large employee groups.
• Autonomy: Comfort working as an independent regional lead within a matrixed global organization.

College degree preferred but not required. Must have at least five years of progressively responsible work experience and experience working on India Companies Act CSR spend in a corporate environment.
