Job Title: Claims Support
Job Duration: 3 months Assignment
Location: Alpharetta, GA 30022
Shift/Hours: 40hours/week, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Note: For training the hours will be 40 per week, in the office. Once the manager determines the candidate is trained, it will revert to a Hybrid Schedule 3 days in office (Tues, Thurs, Fri), 2 WFH

Job Responsibilities
- Receive new losses and verifies accuracy of information via coverage.
- Perform all file updates on system as directed by claim reps.
- Register loss payments on system - We use Claim Vision to manage our claims.
- Provide customer service to agents, insureds, clients, and other customers.
- Process authorized payments.
- Input data entry correspondence into system, diaries information for claims reps and/or team leader and prepares form letters.
- Typing, photocopying, indexing and filing.
- Ability to accurately calculate wages, etc. and create professional letters and correspondence.
- Make call to insureds requesting missing information on the claim files.
- Direct care when appropriate.
- Basic SE jurisdiction knowledge regarding work comp is a plus.
- Strong customer service background Insurance is a plus but not required, at least 2-3 years.
- Strong working knowledge of computer systems and various Microsoft applications such as Word and Outlook - We will provide templates needed to complete letters etc., to claimants and insured.
- Knowledge of computer systems….). There are some templates but may have to create basic responses on their own.
- They need a good, general working knowledge of Word and the ability to clearly communicate via email in a professional manner.
- Written and verbal skills are needed, as well.
- Training will be provided, if needed.
- The ability to communicate effectively and professionally via the phone or letters is imperative.
- Committed to high standards of behaviour and performance.
- 2-3 years previous claims processing/low touch claim handling experience.
