Schedule / Mileage:
6 days/week: Monday–Saturday
Hours governed by DOT/HOS requirements
Up to approximately 70 hours/week cycle
No fixed shifts
Approximately 2,800–3,200 miles/week
Approximately 10,000–12,000 miles/month
Candidate must be comfortable with both short and long haul
Paid per mile:
$0.56/mile: Midwest / Chicago
$0.60/mile: Pennsylvania
Benchmark earnings: Approximately $6,000–$7,000/month before tax at 10,000–12,000 miles/month.
If paid through a corporation, HST is added on top
No corporate benefits
Do not quote $7,500–$7,800/month. This was discussed as a possible increase but was not confirmed by the client
Ideal candidate: Ontario AZ driver with:
9–10+ month AZ license
6+ months commercial driving experience
Clean abstract
Cross-border experience
Reefer/dry van experience
Available Monday–Saturday
Able to commute to Milton/Guelph yard
Primary geography: Milton, Guelph, Cambridge, Kitchener and surrounding Southwestern Ontario/GTA
