Job Description/ Responsibilities Senior Cloud Security Engineer with deep AWS, Security Operations, Python, Terraform, and Bitbucket Pipelines expertise to implement autonomous containment capabilities, security response automation, and cloud-native remediation workflows. Experience with incident response, AWS security services, EKS/Kubernetes, AI-assisted operations, and enterprise-scale cloud security engineering. This resource will provide hands-on cloud security engineering expertise to build automated containment and remediation capabilities within Client's AWS/Azure environment. he consultant will focus on reducing attack paths, strengthening cloud response capabilities, and implementing practical automation that can be operated and supported by both Cloud Engineering and Cyber Defense teams
Responsibilities include: Design and implement cloud-based containment and remediation workflows within AWS. Build and maintain automation using AWS services, Python, Terraform, APIs, and deployment pipelines. Develop response workflows for cloud workloads, identities, Kubernetes environments, and other cloud-native services. Work with Cloud Engineering and Infrastructure teams to test, deploy, and support cloud response capabilities. Integrate cloud telemetry and security findings into existing Cyber Defense monitoring and response processes.
Expected Deliverables Cloud containment architecture and implementation plan. Automated remediation and containment workflows for AWS/Azure environments. Workload coverage assessment and attack-path reduction recommendations. Python automation, Terraform modules, and supporting deployment components. AWS and Kubernetes response playbooks. Operational runbooks, support documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials.
