Pay Rate: $17.25 - 3rd Shift pay Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (10:00pm - 6:30am). Pending if Training on 1st Shift ($16.50 pay rate).
Main Functions:
Participating in the TIER 1 meeting for the assigned area or production line. Must participate in TIER 2 meetings if required by the Supervisor.
Inspecting and formally reporting non-conforming components and/or subcomponents to the team via email, focusing on recurring issues.
Inspecting, containing, identifying root causes, and proposing solutions for defect/rejection reports issued in FAS by Quality Inspectors.
Maintaining control of Non-Conforming Material in the NCM Cage. Implementing the MRB Process.
Providing support in Final Inspection when required.
Developing process improvements such as updating Checklists, creating Visual Aids and/or Internal Quality Alerts, and participating in team Kaizen events (fixtures, templates, method improvements, etc.).
Complying with Quality Audits (LPA) via Benchmark.
Following safety norms, quality standards and rules, and company policies and procedures.
Main Tasks:
Actively participate in department personnel meetings to discuss operational and/or administrative company matters. TIER 1: (Report previous day's rejections / Final Yield vs. Target). Identify root causes and propose solutions to eliminate, reduce, and/or detect the causes of the most recurring problems.
TIER 2: (Report Non-Conforming Material on the production line that fails to meet product specifications and Quality standards, impacting FTY and/or product feature outputs) SCRAP.
NCM: Identify and report any Non-Conforming Material found on the production line via email with full evidence to Feeders or Back-Office (BO), involving Supplier Quality personnel. Support the segregation of Non-Conforming Material and handle its transfer to the NCM racks.
FAS: Inspect current inventory to determine if issues are isolated or systemic. Visit the process/area where the error or defect originated to identify root causes and collaboratively propose solutions (involving certified regular employees). Document product and/or process audit results following company-established formats.
MRB: Maintain and control Non-Conforming Material on the NCM racks, ensuring compliance with the MRB process (Physical vs. Electronic inventory matching, dwell time of NCM on racks), as well as general management and organization of the area.
Inspect and document critical dimensional and cosmetic characteristics per corporate standards, product specifications, and/or established deviations for finished products and/or sub-assemblies (includes visual inspections). Provide support to the Quality Inspector if requested by the supervisor.
Use precision measuring instruments to verify parts and components. Ensure conformity of measuring and test instruments per the Calibration Program guidelines.
Comply with health, safety, and environmental standards and procedures. Notify the immediate supervisor of any detected deviation or abnormality relative to established quality standards.
Keep inspection files updated in accordance with company procedures.
Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental rules and policies, Quality Rules and Policies, Human Resources guidelines, and overall company rules.
Perform inventory-related transactions following established procedures.
Escalate any product or process abnormalities to the immediate supervisor or designated personnel.
Keep work areas clean and report unsafe conditions that could impact employee safety.
Promote safety in the work area and ensure compliance with established rules and procedures.
Perform any other assigned duties.
