Job summary : This hybrid role for an Architect focuses on designing and governing enterprise data and API solutions using Python and Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud. The Architect will define data standards, implement scalable API patterns, and drive robust governance practices that strengthen data quality, regulatory compliance, and business insight, while ensuring secure and efficient use of data assets across the organization.
Responsibilities : - Design scalable API architectures that enable secure and efficient access to enterprise data assets across multiple business domains and technology platforms - Define and document end to end data architecture blueprints that connect source systems data pipelines and analytic platforms into a cohesive governed ecosystem - Develop Python based solutions that automate data quality checks metadata capture and governance workflows to improve accuracy and trust in enterprise data - Establish data governance principles policies and procedures that align business priorities regulatory requirements and enterprise risk guidelines - Configure and optimize Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud to manage data catalog business glossary and data lineage providing clear visibility into data usage and ownership - Implement Collibra workflows using Python and platform capabilities to streamline data stewardship data issue management and approval processes for key data elements - Collaborate with data engineers data stewards and business stakeholders to translate data governance requirements into practical technical designs that are simple to adopt - Provide guidance on standardizing data models and reference data so that APIs and analytics solutions deliver consistent and reliable information for operational and strategic decisions - Monitor data quality metrics data policy adherence and Collibra platform usage to identify improvement opportunities and propose targeted remediation actions - Evaluate new tools patterns and best practices for API development Python engineering and data governance and recommend enhancements that bring measurable business value - Support project teams during design build and deployment phases by clarifying architecture decisions data governance expectations and integration approaches - Document architecture patterns technical standards and data governance guidelines in an accessible format that supports onboarding and continuous learning across teams - Promote responsible data use by advising teams on privacy ethical handling of data and secure API practices helping the company build trust with customers and society
Qualifications: - Demonstrate strong experience in designing and implementing REST based API architectures with focus on scalability security and maintainability in enterprise settings - Bring advanced proficiency with Python for building data pipelines automation scripts integration utilities and governance related tooling that support robust data operations - Show deep hands on expertise with Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud including configuration of domains workflows data catalogs business glossaries and lineage capabilities - Apply comprehensive knowledge of data governance frameworks such as defining ownership stewardship data quality controls and policy enforcement across diverse data assets - Possess solid understanding of metadata management master data concepts and data quality techniques that underpin reliable reporting analytics and regulatory compliance - Have practical experience working in hybrid work environments coordinating effectively with distributed teams while maintaining strong communication and collaboration practices - Display familiarity with integrating Collibra capabilities with data platforms and API gateways to ensure governance rules are embedded into everyday data and application workflows - Exhibit ability to create clear architectural documentation and governance guidelines that can be easily understood by technical and nontechnical stakeholders - Offer background in day shift enterprise project delivery including coordination with business teams to align data solutions with operational timelines and decision cycles - Maintain awareness of emerging trends in API design Python development and data governance so that solutions remain modern efficient and adaptable - Prefer experience in large multinational environments where data governance practices need to scale across regions business units and regulatory landscapes
