Job Description/ Responsibilities:
• Lead outside-in customer journey mapping across all three consumer surfaces (TurboTax, Quicken, H&R Block) for assigned product lines, capturing participant flow, credential handling, endpoint routing, error states, and customer-service touchpoints
• Perform FDX v6.4 gap analysis against current OFX behavior (or current out-of-OFX experience, for greenfield products) for assigned product lines
• Build and maintain the tax document inventory — variants, volumes, current vendor, and current handling — for assigned product lines
• Feed analyst findings into the relevant LOB Tax Domain HLD, in coordination with the Solutions Architect / Technical Lead
• Participate in weekly SME working sessions with LOB Ops, Tax Ops, and the relevant LOB Tax Domain teams
• Maintain accuracy of the workplan, risk log, issue log, and decision log entries related to their assigned product lines
• Support vendor engagement sessions for vendors tied to their assigned product lines
• Own the 1099-R variant inventory for Retirement (normal withdrawal, hardship, RMD, direct/indirect rollover, other variants) and IA-specific variants
• Validate SOVOS API coverage against the FDX Tax1099R schema for Retirement, and confirm the IA tax-document vendor path (SOVOS-shared vs. internal)
• Document the current out-of-OFX participant experience for IA and Mutual Fund, since neither has an existing interface
• Support Nuveen product/technology engagement to define the greenfield Mutual Fund data model and delivery approach
• Determine whether the IA Tax Domain will be bundled with Retirement or stood up standalone
