Summary: Seeking a QA Mobile Tester with strong experience in web and Android application testing, specializing in Playwright automation, API testing, and SQL data validation. The role involves designing and executing test strategies, building and maintaining automation frameworks, validating REST APIs and backend data, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting application issues. The ideal candidate is self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of improving QA processes while collaborating effectively across teams.
Job Description/ Responsibilities:
Extensive background in both web application and mobile application automation testing.
Design test plans, scenarios, acceptance criteria, and positive/negative test coverage; maintain requirements-to-defect traceability.
Build and maintain Playwright automation frameworks and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Perform REST API testing, including authentication, schema/contract validation, and Postman-based testing.
Validate backend data using SQL/PostgreSQL, including test-data setup and cleanup.
Diagnose failures using browser/network traces, logs, screenshots, videos, and stack traces.
Test Android applications across devices, OS versions, emulators, ADB, and Android Studio.
Strong Playwright and Android automation experience; self-driven, detail-oriented, and experienced in improving QA and CI/CD processes.
Great communication skills and ability to work independently across the org.
