Job Title: Technical Program Product Manager III

• The Technical Infrastructure Program Manager III within Data Centre Infrastructure Engineering (DCIE) owns the end-to-end lifecycle of complex, cross-functional infrastructure programs across Logistics operations worldwide. This role operates both tactically and strategically driving day-to-day program execution while defining program mission, multi-year roadmaps, and the business and technology selections that shape DCIE's infrastructure direction within a VP organization.
  The TIPM III leads collaboration across engineering, operations, vendors, finance, field IT, and security teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and cost-effective infrastructure. This includes owning program health metrics and executive reporting (CARs, MBRs, QBRs, OP1/OP2 narratives) that give stakeholders visibility into program impact, risk, and investment justification.
  This role requires the ability to enter undefined spaces where deployment strategy does not yet exist, build structure and consensus from scratch, negotiate resources and priorities across teams that do not report to it, and drive decisions to a date — all while mentoring peers and improving how the team runs its programs.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Program Strategy & Execution
- Own the full lifecycle of complex, multi-site, multi-million-dollar infrastructure programs — define mission, scope, success criteria, and multi-year roadmap.
- Drive program strategy in ambiguous environments; build the decision framework, stakeholder map, and execution plan where no playbook exists.
- Balance short-term execution against long-term direction, managing scope, risk, and cost trade-offs.
Deployment & Field Coordination
- Coordinate multi-vendor field deployments and remediation across global sites, including procurement mechanics (RFQ, CAR, PO), supply-chain and lead-time constraints, and site-readiness dependencies.
- Manage third-party (3P) contractor labor models, escort/access requirements, and vendor performance where field IT or internal capacity is constrained.
Reporting & Business Reviews
- Own OP1/OP2 narratives, CARs, 6-pagers, MBRs, and QBRs for owned programs.
- Present program status, risks, and selections to leaders up to three tiers above the role.
- Establish and maintain program health dashboards.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Identify and mitigate execution, safety, compliance, and financial risk; partner with deployment planning (DPM) on escalations and deviation approvals.
- Maintain a risk register and drive path-to-green plans for at-risk programs.
Cross-Functional Influence & Leadership
- Act as the primary interface between engineering, operations, vendors, finance, security, and senior leadership.
- Build consensus across competing priorities and drive alignment without authority.
Process Improvement
- Streamline or eliminate excess process; create predictable, repeatable paths and drive concurrent-delivery improvements.
Must-Haves:
- Managed complex, multi-million-dollar infrastructure or technology programs in an operations environment.
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly for executives (narratives, not slides).
- Comfortable with ambiguity — can define scope, build consensus, and drive decisions where no playbook exists.
- Cross-functional influence without authority — proven work across engineering, operations, vendors, and finance.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience owning multi-year strategic roadmaps, not just execution of defined scope.
- Power/electrical and cooling infrastructure knowledge (UPS, PDU, ATS, HVAC).
- Data center, fulfilment center, or logistics infrastructure experience.
- Experience with 3P vendor/contractor program management and field deployment models.
- Familiarity with culture, pace, and tooling ecosystem.
- Mentoring or developing other program managers.

A Day in the Life:
Your day starts by reviewing program health dashboards and overnight ticket trends to spot risks and opportunities. You lead morning syncs with engineers and field partners to align on milestones, unblock deliverables, and escalate risks. Midday, you work vendors and partner teams on deployment schedules, RFQs, or supply-chain constraints. Afternoons involve deep dives on program metrics or preparing executive updates for QBRs, CARs, and OP narratives. You close by refining roadmap progress, intake priorities, or mentoring peers on scaling programs — all while shaping infrastructure direction across thousands of fulfilment and logistics sites.
