What you are good at
Execute on Scrum Master responsibilities that include organizing and facilitating daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other meetings
Influence team members to leverage, follow and support agile software development practices
Interface with product owner and key stakeholders in Project Management, Business, QA and Technology Operations to ensure high quality delivery of software projects on time and budget
Track internal and external Project dependencies?
Identify gaps/risks early and establish mitigation plans
Track and communicate team velocity, sprint/release progress and maintain process documentation
Provide accurate and succinct updates and escalations (with business impacts)?
Serve and support team by removing impediments and partnering with Senior Managers and Project Managers
Assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition; Identify and remove impediments; prevent distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver the sprint goal; Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution
Empower the teams to self-organize;?improve the productivity of the sprint teams;?ensure that the team strives to make each increment of functionality potentially releasable?
Utilize scrum tools and frameworks to achieve efficiency both internally and externally
Ensure the coordination of individual team deliverable are synchronized as necessary to achieve product releases
What you have
Must be a Certified Scrum Master with 8+ years?Scrum Master Experience
Kanban experience would be a plus
Experience using Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) and maintaining Scrum Boards including feature break down to Epics, User Stories, Tasks and Subtasks
Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values and procedures
Must be an excellent team player with the ability to influence and negotiate
Experience working with agile methodology on large scale, technically complex projects
Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle
Highly adaptable to changing environment
Must have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
Ability to coach teams to reach their highest potential
Must be self-motivated, well as creative, and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems.?
Must be collaborative in driving decisions and able to deal with multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to hold team members accountable, set clear sprint performance standards, resolve sprint performance issues, keep team engaged and on task.?
Experience working in the financial industry and aware of basic financial concepts
Experience taking Business requirement and writing technical requirement using BDD
Excellent communication and influencing skills, written and verbal
Self-starter, organized, ability to work on multiple projects and handle multiple scrum teams
Must Have
agile , person will be wearing muti hats on the team, scrum, release, and some program mgmt
Release and scrum – top
Some technical expertise will be helpful here
