Picks up and delivers mail to the post office and/or other locations as required.
Picks up and delivers materials to various locations throughout the island or metropolitan area as required.
Transports materials or personnel between the airport and the company.
Picks up and delivers goods from HCL suppliers, including but not limited to molded parts, metal parts, boxes, cartons, labels, paint, wire, lacquer, adhesives, cleaning supplies, and other materials.
Responsible for maintaining work and common areas clean and organized in accordance with 5S procedures.
Cost and Asset Management
Responsible for maintaining company tools and equipment in good working condition and using them properly, including forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment.
Ensures compliance with all Occupational Safety, Quality, Environmental, Company Policies, Procedures, and Safety Rules.
Receives, stores, and maintains materials from various suppliers in an organized manner within designated areas.
Loads and unloads trucks, containers, and pallets, and moves materials between facilities, placing them in their assigned locations.
Performs other duties related to the position as assigned by the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor.
Requirements
High School Diploma (12th Grade) completed from an accredited institution.
Basic knowledge of the English language.
Valid Drivers Record Certification (Rcord Choferil) issued by the Department of Transportation and Public Works.
Must possess a valid Class 8 Heavy Vehicle Drivers License.
Experience operating heavy-duty trucks is required.
Knowledge and hands-on experience using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment.
Knowledge of transportation routes throughout the island, including metropolitan, municipal, and rural areas.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend Spanish at an intermediate level.
Basic English reading and comprehension skills are preferred.
