Job Title: Power BI Lead developer

Job summary : 
This hybrid day shift Team Member role focuses on designing and optimizing enterprise grade Power BI solutions that turn complex data into clear and actionable insights for business stakeholders.
The candidate will drive reporting and analytics maturity, ensure data accuracy and performance, and support a culture of informed decision making across the organization while maintaining strong governance and security standards.

Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable Power BI dashboards and reports that translate complex enterprise data into clear insights to support strategic and operational decisions across multiple business functions. 
-Optimize existing Power BI solutions by refining data models, improving query performance, and enhancing visual design to ensure fast, reliable, and intuitive analytics for business stakeholders. 
-Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand reporting needs, gather detailed requirements, and propose effective Power BI solutions that align with organizational goals and compliance expectations. 
-Create robust Power BI data models using relationships, calculated columns, and measures to enable accurate analysis, self service reporting, and consistent use of key performance indicators. 
-Implement and maintain strong data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation processes within Power BI solutions to ensure high confidence in metrics used by decision makers. 
-Configure and manage Power BI workspace structures, datasets, and access controls to support governed self service analytics while protecting sensitive information and respecting data privacy standards. 
-Develop advanced analytical logic using Power BI expressions to deliver sophisticated metrics, trend analyses, and scenario views that help teams understand drivers of performance and risk. 
-Provide ongoing production support for Power BI assets by monitoring refresh jobs, troubleshooting data issues, and coordinating with data platform teams to resolve root causes quickly. 
-Document Power BI solutions including business logic definitions, data lineage, and usage guidelines so that users and technical partners can easily adopt, maintain, and extend analytics content. 
-Guide stakeholders on best practices for using Power BI reports by conducting walkthroughs, sharing usage tips, and helping interpret visualizations to improve data literacy and confidence in insights. 
-Align Power BI development with enterprise data strategies by integrating approved data sources, following governance standards, and contributing feedback to improve common data assets. 
-Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics processes by suggesting enhancements, evaluating new Power BI features, and sharing lessons learned that increase efficiency and value creation. 
-Support the company purpose by enabling timely, evidence based decisions through well designed Power BI solutions that improve customer outcomes, operational resilience, and societal impact. 

Qualifications:
-Demonstrate extensive experience of ten to fourteen years in business intelligence or analytics work with a strong focus on designing and delivering complex Power BI solutions in large organizations. 
-Apply deep hands on expertise in Power BI desktop and Power BI service including data modeling, measures, visual configuration, and workspace management to build reliable analytics products. 
-Show proficiency in working with enterprise data sources such as relational databases, data warehouses, and cloud platforms using queries that feed performant and stable Power BI datasets. 
-Utilize strong skills in data analysis and problem solving to interpret business requirements, translate them into metrics and visuals, and resolve data issues that affect insight quality. 
-Exhibit the ability to communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical partners by explaining data concepts, analytical logic, and visualization choices in accessible and structured language. 
-Display familiarity with governance and security practices for analytics solutions including role based access concepts and responsible use of data to safeguard organizational and societal trust. 
-Highlight experience working in hybrid models and collaborating remotely using digital tools to ensure consistent delivery, documentation, and stakeholder engagement across locations.
