Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Plan-to-Report (P2R) Business Readiness Consultant Location: Dearborn, MI (Onsite) Work Model: Candidates must be willing to work onsite at the client location as required. Duration: 6 Months to 1 Year
Job Summary We are seeking experienced SAP S/4HANA Plan-to-Report (P2R) Business Readiness Consultants to support a large-scale ERP transformation and deployment program. This role is responsible for driving business readiness activities across SAP module launches, ensuring successful adoption, testing, training, cutover execution, go-live readiness, and post-launch stabilization. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Record-to-Report (R2R/P2R) processes, and ERP deployment readiness activities, combined with strong business-facing consulting skills. The successful candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, integration teams, testing teams, and program leadership to ensure operational readiness and successful deployment of new SAP capabilities. This is a highly visible role requiring exceptional communication, stakeholder management, change leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience
4+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, ERP transformation, business readiness, deployment, testing, or launch activities
Experience supporting large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation and deployment programs
Experience participating in system launches through design validation, build/configuration, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover rehearsals, go-live, and stabilization
Experience working with business stakeholders, program governance teams, architects, integration teams, and testing teams in enterprise environments
Experience with cloud integration, data migration, reporting, or related ERP transformation initiatives preferred

Key Responsibilities
Lead business readiness activities for SAP module launches and deployment milestones.
Conduct business process walkthroughs, readiness assessments, and impact analyses with key stakeholders.
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test execution, issue management, defect tracking, and business signoff.
Partner with business SMEs, product teams, architects, integration teams, testing teams, and program leadership to identify and mitigate launch risks and dependencies.
Support change management and organizational readiness initiatives to drive successful user adoption.
Develop and maintain training materials, readiness documentation, launch checklists, stakeholder communications, and executive status updates.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting multiple SAP go-live events.
Exposure to cloud integration and enterprise reporting solutions.
Experience within manufacturing, automotive, or large-scale global ERP transformation programs.
Knowledge of SAP deployment governance and readiness frameworks.
