Serve as a GeoSpatial Senior Analyst for enterprise platforms, applying strong experience in Ansible, continuous integration and continuous delivery practices, DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering to design, automate, and optimize geospatial data services. Partner with cross functional teams to ensure reliable map based solutions that support business outcomes and deliver measurable value to clients and communities.
Responsibilities -Design automated deployment workflows for geospatial services using Ansible and continuous integration and continuous delivery practices to achieve consistent, repeatable, and reliable releases across enterprise environments -Implement infrastructure as code patterns for map data pipelines and geospatial platforms to reduce manual effort and improve configuration accuracy for production and nonproduction systems -Optimize DevOps processes for geospatial applications by refining build, test, and deployment stages to shorten release cycles while maintaining platform stability and compliance -Configure and maintain monitoring solutions focused on geospatial services using Splunk to ensure timely detection of performance degradation, data quality issues, and platform errors -Develop and maintain observability dashboards that present clear views of map service health, latency, throughput, and error patterns to support rapid diagnostics and continuous improvement -Collaborate with product, data engineering, and operations teams to translate geospatial requirements into scalable and supportable technical implementations on enterprise platforms -Analyze incident trends and recurring failures in geospatial platforms to define remediation actions, automate runbook steps, and improve overall site reliability engineering practices -Create detailed documentation for deployment runbooks, monitoring standards, and operational support guidelines to enable consistent execution by peer engineers across the organization -Drive incident response activities for geospatial services by participating in troubleshooting sessions, coordinating with stakeholders, and restoring service within agreed service level objectives -Conduct capacity assessments and performance tuning for geospatial workloads to ensure responsive map rendering, efficient data queries, and cost effective use of compute and storage resources -Partner with security and compliance teams to embed secure configuration baselines, access controls, and audit ready logging into DevOps workflows for geospatial platforms -Mentor junior analysts and engineers in DevOps, automation, monitoring, and geospatial platform operations to build a sustainable and collaborative technical community of practice -Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing and implementing enhancements that increase reliability, reduce toil, and improve the experience of internal consumers of geospatial services -Align daily engineering activities with the organization purpose by enabling accurate and timely geospatial insights that support safer infrastructure planning, smarter logistics, and more sustainable urban development
Certifications Required Preferred certifications include Splunk Core Certified Power User and a DevOps or SRE focused certification relevant to automation and monitoring
