Location: Aibonito, PR
Shift: E — Saturday & Sunday, 12-hour night shifts, 5:45 PM–6:15 AM, plus 2 additional days on Shift C
Schedule: 4 days per week

Job purpose
Sets up, adjusts, and performs minor repairs on complex production equipment. May also operate equipment after setup or monitor multiple machines to identify and make necessary adjustments.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Checks measurements and performs die adjustments.
• Performs screening and visual inspections.
• Cleans equipment and maintains a clean work area.
• Creates and applies labels.
• Bags and tags rolls.
• Palletizes finished products.
• Uses batch trace systems.
• Wraps and moves finished products.
• Monitors production processes and makes necessary adjustments.
• Completes equipment and product changeovers.
• Updates batch boards.
• Discards scrap materials according to established procedures.
• Operates a forklift safely.
• Creates, maintains, and verifies required documentation.
• Covers other operators to allow for scheduled breaks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and understand job instructions.
• Basic knowledge and proper use of tools.

Physical / Safety Requirements

• Requires walking, lifting a minimum of 35 lbs., lifting above head, bending, twisting, pushing, stretching, squatting, pulling, reaching, standing, climbing, and carrying.
• Must be able to safely operate a forklift.
• Must pass forklift physical.
• Will work around heat and fumes.
• Duties may require overtime work, including nights and weekends.
• Use of hands and fingers to manipulate office equipment is required.
• Position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
