Location: Aibonito, PR
Shift: Saturday & Sunday, 12-hour night shifts, 5:45 PM–5:45 AM, plus 2 additional days on Shift C/JOB
Schedule: 4 days per week

Job Purpose
Performs repetitive line assembly operations to mass-produce medical device products, such as IV bags. Ensures that all operations are performed in compliance with company standards, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Places parts in the specified relationship to each other.
• Fastens parts together according to established procedures.
• Works at different workstations as production needs require.
• Performs various tasks on the production line as different models of the same product move along the line.
• Inspects each part to ensure the product has zero defects and meets quality standards.
• Places finished products in the appropriate boxes and stocks them until the Material Handler arrives.
• Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.
• Removes material samples, labels them with identifying information, and delivers samples to the laboratory for analysis as requested.
• Lifts and moves objects weighing approximately 5 to 25 pounds, manually or with a power hoist, as required.
• Maintains and cleans the work area.
• May occasionally be required to work other shifts based on business needs.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Maintains the work area in a clean, organized, and orderly condition.
• Works effectively as part of a team.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small-group situations with the immediate supervisor or group leader.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• cGMP training required.
• Must complete any additional training
