Staff Recruiter (CDB) Location: Kansas City, MO Duration: 6 Months
Job Description: The Recruiter partners with talent acquisition professionals and hiring managers to develop and execute recruitment strategies that identify, attract, and hire top talent. This role primarily supports our Construction Global Practice, collaborating with recruiters and hiring managers across estimating, procurement, construction management, and project controls.
Core responsibilities include:
Developing and executing sourcing strategies to identify the top talent for current and future needs.
Conduct initial screening of potential candidates to evaluate and assess their interest level, qualifications, geographic preference, salary expectations, etc.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific position requirements, job responsibilities, and how they relate to business goals.
Recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers.
Sell the Clients culture and benefits to engage and recruit top talent to the organization.
Understand, follow and ensure compliance with all established policies, processes and procedures.
Maintains confidentiality of personal, confidential and proprietary information.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.
Job Requirements: Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field and 4 years sourcing or recruiting experience required.
Understanding of the Boolean search language, and how those search principles apply to both Internet and database searches.
Previous experience recruiting or sourcing for technical positions, particularly in the field of engineering or construction, within a high-volume recruiting environment is preferred.
Experience developing, extending and negotiating employment offers preferred.
Strong analytical, problem solving and research skills
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
Understand, follow and ensure compliance with all established policies, processes and procedures.
Must demonstrate ability to build strong relationships and provide excellent customer service.
Experience with applicant tracking systems and Internet-based sourcing tools is required.
Strong knowledge of construction roles, terminology, project delivery methods and industry talent markets strongly preferred.
Proven ability to develop targeted sourcing strategies and build diverse pipelines for specialized and hard-to-fill positions preferred.
Generate and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through LinkedIn, cold calling, AI-enabled recruiting and other available resources
