Job Description/ Responsibilities: Sr Architect role for a hybrid work model focusing on end-to-end mobile architecture across cross platform, Android, iOS using Flutter, Kotlin, Swift UI, Rest API, and modern design patterns. The architect will guide solution design, ensure scalability and performance, and align mobile platforms with enterprise standards for secure and seamless card and payments experiences.
-Design comprehensive mobile application architectures that unify Flutter, native Kotlin, and Swift UI solutions to deliver consistent and scalable user experiences across Android and iOS platforms while meeting enterprise standards for quality and security. -Drive the definition of mobile architecture blueprints and reference implementations that align Android architecture and design and iOS architecture and design with reusable components, common patterns, and clear guidelines for engineering teams. -Oversee end to end solution designs that integrate mobile applications with backend services through secure and optimized Rest API interactions, focusing on reliability, throughput, and predictable service contracts. -Provide guidance to development teams on applying best practices in mobile architecture including modularization, clean code principles, performance optimization, and robust error handling that support long term maintainability. -Ensure architectural decisions account for hybrid work collaboration by documenting designs clearly, enabling remote reviews, and supporting distributed development teams through well-defined technical standards and patterns. -Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements in areas such as payments and cards and payments into practical mobile solutions that improve customer trust, usability, and transaction success rates. -Evaluate existing Android and iOS applications and propose refactoring and modernization strategies that move toward unified mobile architecture patterns, reduce technical debt, and improve performance and stability. -Define nonfunctional requirements and architectural controls for security, data protection, and compliance in mobile applications, particularly for payment-oriented solutions, ensuring safe handling of sensitive customer information. -Review solution designs, code, and technical documentation for mobile initiatives to ensure adherence to defined architecture, identifying risks early and recommending pragmatic alternatives that respect timelines and budgets. -Coordinate with backend and infrastructure teams to design mobile friendly API contracts, caching strategies, and configuration approaches that improve responsiveness, resilience, and observability of mobile transactions. -Champion user centered design considerations in mobile architecture decisions by accounting for accessibility, responsiveness, offline behavior, error messaging, and smooth navigation flows across Android and iOS. -Guide teams in selecting and configuring appropriate tools, frameworks, and libraries for Flutter, Kotlin, and Swift UI development to support efficient build pipelines, testing strategies, and monitoring of production applications. -Drive continuous improvement in mobile architecture practices by analyzing production metrics, incident trends, and user feedback, feeding insights into evolving standards that enhance reliability and customer satisfaction.
