Position Title: Senior Systems Engineer Work
Location: 1910 East Innovation Park Drive, Tucson AZ - 85755
Assignment Duration: 4+ Months (Possible Extension)
Work Schedule: 9:00 am-5:00 pm (flexible) 
Work Arrangement: Onsite

SUMMARY

• Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of design principles, practices and implementation in complex systems and assignments.
• General responsibilities include design concept generation, participating in design reviews, development and testing to assess performance against design specification; reliability testing, and assessment of system interactions.
• Makes independent decisions.
• Assists in the development of manufacturing processes and troubleshooting issues to determine root cause and possible engineering solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Test Method Validation (TMV), Test Method Development, Design of Experiments (DoE), and data analysis using Python.
• Collect, process, and analyze digital sensor output data.
• Develop and maintain test beds for product testing and validation.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to testing and system performance.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and testing protocols.
• Execute hands-on testing activities.
• Author detailed technical reports and documentation.
• Manage the defect lifecycle, including defect collection, documentation, tracking, and summarization for the development partner.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, or Software Engineering preferred).
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience working in an FDA- or FAA-regulated environment is a strong plus.
• Medical device industry experience is highly preferred.

• Risk and requirements management.
• Technical writing (protocols, reports, and related documentation).
• Demonstrated experience working with complex systems.
