Job Description
Duration: 6 months
Location: Aurora, CO 80010
Swing shift 12 pm - 10:30 pm Sun-Wed and Wed- Sat
Yes holiday and OT needed if staffing gap
Services to Be Performed

Identify and communicate compliance issues, risks, and improvement opportunities through daily, weekly, and monthly safety audits.

Facilitate incident and accident investigations.

Maintain required documentation to ensure compliance with client policies and regulatory requirements.

Enter safety and compliance information into internal databases in a timely manner.

Conduct workplace observations and safety audits.
-
Train and assist Area Managers and team members in completing safety responsibilities, including audits and compliance with safety procedures.

Deliver job-specific safety training as assigned by management.

Support fire prevention, hazardous waste management, and other environmental health and safety activities as required by the business unit.

Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives and drive corrective actions to completion.
Required Skills & Experience
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) role, or a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
-
Professional experience using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding security and personnel-related matters.

Willingness to work flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.

Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Health & Safety or a related field.

Strong communication, teamwork, analytical, judgment, and customer service skills.

Experience leading or managing teams.

Ability to analyze accident data, evaluate new processes and equipment, and perform Job Hazard Analyses (JHA).

Experience in emergency response and possession of applicable certifications.

Experience with Workers' Compensation case management.
-
Passion for workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Experience in healthcare or industrial environments.

Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.

Experience managing Workers' Compensation cases.
