Job Description

Job Title: Associate, Growth Merchant Lead (Emerging Markets)
Location: Lebanon, NH (Candidate must reside within 40 minutes of the location)
Duration: 12 Months Assignment
Shift/Hours: 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: Fixed pay rate of $29/hr due to commission structure (details will be explained by the Hiring Manager during the interview)



Position Overview
We are seeking an Associate, Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) to join the Outside Sales team.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth within your assigned territory and contributing to the overall market expansion strategy. The position focuses on acquiring new restaurant partnerships in emerging and underserved markets through a highly transactional sales cycle.
You will work closely with a Regional Sales Manager and leverage market intelligence, partnership resources, sales enablement tools, marketing materials, and other resources to achieve sales goals.
About Travel
This is a field-based sales role, with most sales activities conducted face-to-face with restaurant owners.
Extensive travel throughout the assigned territory is required. Most travel will occur within approximately two hours of the hiring location; however, occasional overnight stays and extended travel days (including 6–7 hours of driving or air travel) may be necessary.
All approved travel expenses will be covered by the company, and travel activity will be monitored to ensure compliance with company guidelines.

  • Prospect, engage, and secure new restaurant partnerships within your assigned geography.
  • Demonstrate the value of partnering with the platform and negotiate revenue-sharing agreements with restaurant owners.
  • Manage a fast-paced, transactional sales cycle and close new business opportunities quickly.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and utilize sales tools and resources to maximize market growth.
Pay & Commission Structure
  • Base compensation of $29/hour.
  • Additional commission earned for every new restaurant partnership signed.
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE) for commissions are approximately $1,900 per month, with the opportunity to exceed this amount.
  • Commission earnings are uncapped.
We're Excited About You Because:
  • You have 2.5+ years of sales experience, preferably in a closing sales role or similar customer-facing sales environment.
  • You are comfortable traveling extensively and can spend at least 50% of your time in the field meeting with restaurant owners.
  • You effectively leverage both inside and outside sales strategies to achieve and exceed goals.
  • You possess an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy building scalable sales strategies and playbooks.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by performance-based incentives.
  • Experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), particularly within the restaurant, food, or beverage industry, is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful SMB sales experience.
  • Experience selling restaurant, hospitality, food service, or beverage-related solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and prospecting skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing a travel-intensive territory.
