Job Title: HR Coordinator / Benefits Analyst
Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
Location: In-office, Tampa, FL
Qualifications:-
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing 401(k) retirement plans, including non-discrimination testing, as well as supporting or leading annual 401(k) audit processes and Form 5500 preparation
Summary:-
The Benefits Analyst supports the administration of employee benefit programs, including health, welfare, and retirement plans. This role assists with employee inquiries, maintains accurate records, and works closely with internal teams, vendors, and carriers to ensure efficient and compliant benefits operations. In addition, this role is responsible for facilitating projects such as annual Open Enrollment, audits, plan integrations, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong project management, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Essential Functions:-
- Assist with the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA/FSA, retirement plans, etc.)
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefit eligibility, enrollment, claims, and coverage questions in a timely and professional manner
- Support open enrollment activities, including system setup, communications, and employee assistance
- Maintain and audit benefit records in HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce) to ensure data accuracy
- Coordinate with carriers and vendors to resolve eligibility, billing, and claims issues
- Assist in reconciling monthly benefit invoices and identifying discrepancies
- Prepare reports and documentation for audits and compliance requirements
- Support the development of employee communications and educational materials
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
- Coordinate the benefits planning process through the implementation and ownership of timelines, processes, and communication plans.
- Coordinate the preparation of annual open enrollment, including system confirmation and testing, communication materials, audits, and trainings for HR.
- Facilitate the development, coordination, and distribution of benefit communications, including maintaining the SharePoint page and monthly Shared Services meetings.

Education and Experience:-
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, benefits administration, or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of employee benefit plans and terminology or willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience in doing Mail Merges with Microsoft Word a plus
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce) preferred
Preferred (Optional):-
- Exposure to benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA)
- Experience working with benefit carriers and third-party administrators
- Experience with Mail Merges through Microsoft Word
