Job Title: Associate - Inventory:Associate - Inventory I Duration: 7 Months Location: Merritt Island, FL 32593 Shift: 7am-3pm About the Role We’re looking for a candidate with strong carpentry expertise including framing, finish, and rough carpentry, as well as cabinetry and millwork installation. They’ll need to be highly proficient in using hand, power, and pneumatic tools, with the ability to read blueprints, perform accurate measurements, and execute precise material take-offs. Their solid mathematical background supports calculating angles, cuts, and material requirements while minimizing waste. Physically capable and safety-focused, they excel in demanding environments requiring stamina, manual dexterity, and adherence to OSHA standards. With strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication, they consistently deliver high-quality work while collaborating efficiently with team members and stakeholders.    Technical Skills Core Carpentry Framing – walls, floors, roofs, and structural elements Finish carpentry – trim, molding, doors, and windows Rough carpentry – formwork, shoring, and structural framing Cabinetry & millwork – building and installing cabinets and custom woodwork Flooring installation – hardwood, subfloor, and engineered wood Tools & Equipment Hand tools (hammers, chisels, hand saws, planes) Power tools (circular saws, jigsaws, routers, drills) Pneumatic tools (nail guns, staplers) Measuring and layout tools (levels, squares, tape measures)   Reading & Planning Blueprint and schematic reading Taking accurate measurements Material estimation and take-offs Mathematical Skills Basic geometry and trigonometry Calculating angles, cuts, and dimensions Material waste calculation Physical Skills Stamina and physical strength Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Working at heights (ladders, scaffolding) Soft Skills Attention to detail Problem-solving Time management Communication with clients and contractors Safety awareness (OSHA standards) Knowledge Areas Building codes and regulations Wood species and material properties Joinery techniques Adhesives, fasteners, and hardware Skills: 2+ years in a warehouse environment  Safety is a top priority it is imperative that the employee strictly adheres to established safety protocols and guidelines.
