Title: Business Information Management Analyst IV
Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of Extension/Conversion)
Location: Toronto, Ontario (4 days on site and one day work from home)

Summary of the Role:

• Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Responsible for leading technical aspects of project from inception through to deployment. Participate in analysis and system design specification sessions. Documentation of design options and solutions according to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
• Who are they interacting with (internal/external): No interaction
• Will the contractor have access to any customer data? YES!

Must Have Hard Skills:

• Technical knowledge or experience with Cloud environments (MS Azure) as well as experience with Data Management and Analytics. 
• Strong technical knowledge and experience with: PySpark, SQL, Tableau and Power BI
• Experience with analyzing large data sets, drawing insights and inferences, and communicating outputs.
• Experienced with Data/Text Mining, Optimization, Algorithm Development, Automation, Data Visualization, Simulation
• Reading and comprehending data schemas, metadata, entity relationship diagrams and other technical documentation as well as well as writing documentation.
• Databricks experience.
• Unity Catalog experience.
• Synapse experience.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.
• Strong statistical and analytical skills as well as a passion for analytics are necessary.

Nice-to-Have:

• Banking experience
• Project Management experience

Years of Overall Experience: 8-10 years of experience is required
Preferred/Ideal Candidate Background: Strong technical skill set: Azure, PySpark, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Databricks, Unity Catalog, Synapse. Banking is nice to have background, lots of experience with automation, data visualization and Algorithm Development.

Interview process: 2 rounds, both in-person- 30-45 min each
