Position Title: Supply Planning Transformation Lead
Department: Digital Strategy Team (as part of Future Focused Planning Program)
Location: Remote
Duration: 24 months
Travel: This role involves regular travel to assigned manufacturing sites, estimated at 15–35% of working time depending on deployment phase and site requirements.
I. Purpose & Strategic Leadership
- Lead a team of Supply Planning Transformation Specialists to successfully deploy the Future Focused Planning program across a cluster of manufacturing sites.
- Ensure each assigned site transitions fully to the new Target Operating Model (TOM).
- Act as a senior transformation champion, embedding sustainable change and new ways of working across site supply planning teams.
- ?Drive consistency, quality, and speed of deployment across the site cluster, reporting progress to Program Leadership.
II. Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supply Planning Transformation Specialists, providing day-to-day direction and support.
- Oversee end-to-end deployment of the Future Focused Planning program across all assigned manufacturing sites.
- Ensure each site achieves full adoption of the new Target Operating Model (TOM) within agreed timelines.
- Act as the primary escalation point for site-level deployment issues, risks, and blockers.
- Manage deployment timelines, milestones, and site readiness assessments across the cluster.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with site leadership, supply chain, and operations stakeholders, ensuring sustained engagement and alignment throughout the transformation journey.
- Report progress, risks, and issues to Program Leadership on a regular cadence.
- Drive consistency in deployment approach across all sites, sharing best practices and lessons learned.
- Champion change management best practices to embed sustainable behavioral change at site level.
- Collaborate with the second Deployment Lead to align on approach, share learnings, and resolve cross-cluster issues.
- Partner with the project team to build and maintain process playbooks and blueprints, gathering site-level input and testing the validity of playbooks to ensure they reflect real-world deployment requirements.
III. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field (required). Master's degree or professional specialization in Supply Chain/Operations (preferred).
- 8–12 years of experience in supply chain planning, manufacturing operations, or business transformation.
- Proven track record of leading teams through transformation or operating model change programs.
- Strong background in supply planning, S&OP, or Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- Experience deploying or implementing operating model changes in a manufacturing environment.
- Practical knowledge of SAP, IBP, or equivalent planning tools (desirable).
- Change management certification (desirable).
- Lean / Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement credentials (desirable).
IV. Ownership, Accountability & People Leadership
- Fully accountable for the successful deployment of the Future Focused Planning program across all sites within their cluster.
- Responsible for the performance, development, and wellbeing of Supply Planning Transformation Specialists.
- Ensures deployment quality, TOM adoption, and milestone achievement across assigned sites.
- Identifies and mitigates risks, escalating issues to Program Leadership as needed.
- Fosters a collaborative, business-first culture within the deployment team and at site level.
V. Influence & Decision Making
- Acts as the senior transformation representative for their site cluster, with broad influence over deployment approach, pace, and site readiness decisions.
- Drives alignment across global supply chain teams, site leadership, supply chain teams, and program stakeholders to enable smooth TOM adoption.
- Presents deployment progress, risks, and value realization updates to senior stakeholders to support informed decision making.
- Champions new ways of working and supply planning transformation across client's manufacturing network.
