Description:
The Enginerring Analyst III serves as a data steward, technical advisor, and operational partner—ensuring that asset data is reliable, actionable, and supports the organization’s maintenance and asset management goals. Responsible for managing, analyzing, and interpreting Asset and Location data within IBM’s Maximo Asset Management system. This role supports the organization’s asset management and maintenance operations by ensuring data integrity, generating actionable insights, and enabling data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with maintenance, engineering, and IT teams to optimize asset lifecycle management and improve operational efficiency. Additionally, the role involves accurately loading/importing, validating, and maintaining asset and location records within the Maximo system

Description:

Responsible for managing, analyzing, and interpreting Asset and Location data within IBM’s Maximo Asset Management system. This role supports the organization’s asset management and maintenance operations by ensuring data integrity, generating actionable insights, and enabling data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with maintenance, engineering, and IT teams to optimize asset lifecycle management and improve operational efficiency. Additionally, the role involves accurately loading/importing, validating, and maintaining asset and location records within the Maximo system
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and prepare data from various sources for upload, map source data to Maximo fields, perform quality checks, review drawings, and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
- Validate and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency within Maximo.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs, automate workflows, and streamline reporting processes.
- Extract, clean, and analyze data from the Maximo Asset Management system to support business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with site teams and Maximo users to gather required information and resolve any data-related issues, supporting both initial data loads and ongoing updates.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving Maximo-related data issues.
- Provide recommendations based on data trends and predictive analytics to optimize preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Support system upgrades, configuration changes, and data migration initiatives for Maximo.
- Train users on automated data entry, reporting tools, and best practices for maintaining data quality.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics for asset performance, maintenance activities, and compliance.
Must Haves
- Experience working with IBM Maximo or similar Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficient in SQL.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient in data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Understand asset management, maintenance processes, and reliability principles.
- Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Show attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Able to explain issues and resolutions to both technical and non-technical staff.
- Degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical discipline, or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
