Job Description
Creative Director - Art Director Background (CD Copywriter candidates are also welcome) We are currently seeking a Creative Leader to lead Marketing creative on behalf of Meta-owned brands in partnership with agencies and product marketers, ensuring consistent brand content through all touch points. This role will develop brand building work that will cultivate our brand look and feel with a heavy focus on working with external creative agencies, sometimes internal teams. The successful candidate will continually push for innovation, never settling for the status quo. This person must have a strong background in Creative Direction (agency or client side) and must be a highly strategic thinker with a proven track record for leading efforts to execute across multiple media formats.
Specifically, the CD has the following responsibilities:
? Creative / Hands-on Work
? Concept and lead multiple Marketing creative campaigns, either with in-house creative team or Agency partners
? Concept & lead multiple social-first campaign launches for one of Meta’s largest owned gaming studios. ? Help develop and inform creative briefs that provide strategic insights, and data driven results to inspire creative concepts and ideas
? Work with either internal teams or our agency partners to produce standout and strategically focused global campaigns supporting the goals of world-class creative and highly efficient, data driven assets
? Collaborate with Creative Leads and other cross-functional team members working within Meta-owned brands to concept and produce advertising across multiple media formats
? Communicate creative direction, guidance and provide oversight to internal and external creatives teams Management
? Partner with Marketing, Media, Analytics and Program Management on developing scalable design frameworks with the goal to optimize creative performance.
? Oversee the strategy and creative direction of consumer facing Meta-owned marketing creative that strongly resonates with a range of global audiences while maintaining consistency for the brand
? Steward creative executions that speak to our global customer audience in the channel appropriate way, balancing the fine line between resource constraints and customization
Leadership
? Drive alignment across internal partners and leadership around core concepts and ideas.
? Communicate learnings from iterative testing to inform creative concepts that are anchored in KPIs and drive consideration and demand.
? Become a trusted and valued partner across the marketing organization, including Marketing, Program Management, Product Marketing, Analytics, and Sales.
? Implement and iterate on best practices for marketing channels across paid and owned media, affiliates and educate cross functional teams on these best practices.
? Partner with CDs and Design Directors to continuously inform and infuse brand work and asset creation with direct response principles.

? Short-form storytelling: Mastery of scripts, manifestos, headlines, and social-first copy that stops the scroll
? Long-form & brand voice: Can architect tone of voice, brand narratives, and editorial systems at scale
? Scriptwriting for video: Experience writing for performance, UGC, documentary-style, and high-craft film ? Editing & craft obsession: Line-level precision — knows when a single word change shifts the entire idea
? Presentation writing: Writes and designs compelling decks that sell ideas internally and to clients Strategic & Cultural Chops
? Insight into formats: Deep understanding of short-form video, Reels/TikTok/Shorts, and how copy drives performance
? Cultural fluency: Writes for diverse audiences; adapts tone for different markets without losing punch
? Brand building: Has shaped or evolved brand voice for major brands or startups
? Data-informed creative: Uses performance insights to iterate copy, but doesn’t let metrics kill the idea –
Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree
? 10+ years relevant experience
? Experience developing and managing consumer marketing programs in an integrated marketing environment
? Experience working with data & insights in a results oriented environment
? Experience overseeing creative teams and/or agencies
? Demonstrated capability driving innovation in the performance marketing space.
? Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners
? Knowledge and experience with localisation of campaigns and working across international markets
? Fluency in English & Hindi (IN)
Preferred Qualifications
? Experience in pursuing and developing work using emerging technologies
? Future-first mindset, and experience creating in new platforms. This may include, but is not limited to: augmented, virtual or mixed reality, gaming, Web3, AI, NFTs, avatars, etc
? History of self-initiated projects and examples of proactivity
? Ability to shift from an overseeing role to a hands-on, executing role
? Having worked in high fashion, luxury, travel and global brands with portfolio that shows high craft will be preferred.
