Position title: Technical Coordinator (SCADA/Leak Detection) Position type: On site Hybrid (Mon, Tue, Thu in office) Location: Edmonton, Alberta Duration: 12 months Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Coordinator to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. This role combines business analysis, project coordination, and agile delivery leadership to support the development and delivery of software solutions, particularly in SCADA and Leak Detection systems. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, is comfortable working in Agile environments, and excels at facilitating communication across diverse teams.   Key Responsibilities: Business Analysis: Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements Work closely with stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into actionable technical tasks Support solution design discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences  Project Management & Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and track project activities across multiple initiatives Monitor timelines, risks, and dependencies, ensuring projects stay on track Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership Agile Delivery & Facilitation: Coordinate and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including: Sprint planning Daily stand-ups Sprint reviews and retrospectives Organize and run product demos to showcase progress and gather feedback Support backlog grooming and prioritization with product owners and development teams Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 7 years of related experience Software development experience or strong understanding of development lifecycles is an asset Proven experience in Business Analysis Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and business audiences Experience in project management or coordination roles Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)  Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pipeline or industrial control systems environments Exposure to tools such as Git, DevOps platforms, or CI/CD pipelines Experience working with distributed or hybrid teams Experience working with Jira, including Jira dashboards and Jira workflows What You Bring: Strong organizational and facilitation skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment A collaborative mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving
