Job Title: Associate
Duration: 12 Months (Possible extension)

Responsible for developing, qualifying and transferring state-of-the-art and fit-for-purpose quantitative potency and biological characterization assays and supporting sample testing and regulatory submissions.

Duration: 12 Months (Possible extension)
Location: 91320, Thousand Oaks, CA
- Fully Onsite
- Working Hours: Standard 8 - 5
Responsible for developing, qualifying and transferring state-of-the-art and fit-for-purpose quantitative potency and biological characterization assays and supporting sample testing and regulatory submissions.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing state-of-the-art and fit-for-purpose analytical potency methods for: release testing, stability testing, product characterization/optimization, reference standard characterization, and investigations
- Generating and analyzing analytical data to support: product development and regulatory submissions
- May contribute to critical analytical development teams (e.g., product and process development teams, product quality teams) by providing analytical updates, analytical documentation and data interpretation. Supports analytical projects involving method development, qualification, and transfer.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor?s degree OR Associate?s degree and 2 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 4 years of experience
Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:
- Perform cell culture and pipetting
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Adept at good documentation practices
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Potency assay sample testing
- Cell culture
- Maintains laboratory equipment and supplies
- Ability to operate specialized laboratory equipment such as plate readers, centrifuges, microscope, automated liquid handlers
Interview Process:
- Initial phone screening by hiring manager only, and then in-person interview with team members
