Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading, and asset management capabilities to clients worldwide. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and control to preserve and enhance the firm’s assets and reputation.
For every trade agreed, every new product launched or market entered, and every transaction completed, Operations develops the processes and controls that enable the business to function effectively.
Securities Settlements is a key team within Operations responsible for processing and controlling the settlement of all asset types, including the transfer of electronic and physical assets related to company distributions, client trades, and portfolio restructuring. Successful team members demonstrate creativity, adaptability, strong communication skills, and a commitment to excellence. Through effective relationship management and precise execution, we deliver optimal solutions for our business and clients.
How You Will Fulfill Your Potential
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the trade lifecycle by interacting with business units, middle office, legal, compliance, and external parties
- Collaborate with expert teams to review assets and transfers from initiation to completion, ensuring a seamless client experience
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail by accurately capturing all transaction information
- Identify control gaps in transfer processes and propose enhancements to mitigate risk
- Leverage innovative thinking to continuously improve existing processes
- Mitigate risk for the firm and clients through precise execution
- Uphold the firm’s standard of excellence in quality, service, and professional interactions
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and a control-oriented mindset with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Self-motivated, proactive team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a team environment
- Strong alignment with a culture of excellence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in asset transfer functions within the financial industry
- Experience in the securities post-trade environment, specifically Securities Settlements within the Americas
