Job Title: Data Analyst 
Duration: Through May 14, 2027 (12-month contract with strong potential for extension and possible conversion)
Location: Hybrid – McLean, VA or Richmond, VA (local or willing to relocate and report day one)

Must-Haves:

• Strong SQL proficiency
• Strong Python proficiency (data manipulation – Pandas, NumPy, etc.)
• Experience strictly in Data Analyst roles (NOT Data Engineering)
• Experience with process migration / modernization

Nice-to-Haves:

• Retail Bank experience
• Familiarity with Snowflake (user space & production environments)
• Experience working with data products / destination assets
• Prior experience transitioning legacy data sources

Responsibilities

• Migrate processes from Snowflake user space → production environment
• Transition legacy data processes to modern data products (destination assets)
• Rewrite and optimize existing SQL/Python scripts
• Validate accuracy and consistency between old vs new processes
• Work embedded within various Retail Bank data analyst teams
• Collaborate with business teams to ensure successful process validation

Experience

• Targeting senior-level Data Analysts (Capital One equivalent: high-performing Principal Associate / Manager level)
• Candidates should demonstrate:
  • Strong ownership and autonomy
  • Ability to work within existing processes and modernize them
  • Hands-on experience with SQL + Python in production environments
• Not targeting junior-level or entry-level profiles

IV Process:

• 1 round interview
  • One-on-one with Hiring Manager or Senior Manager
