Summary
The IT Logistics Team is seeking a highly motivated, goal-oriented, and hands-on Supply Chain Analyst to support the implementation of industrial engineering and Lean principles within warehouse operations.
This role requires a detailed understanding of warehouse objectives and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to improve overall efficiency, capacity, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Process Engineers in developing and deploying new processes and methods to improve efficiency, data visibility, and inventory accuracy.
- Support the design and implementation of new workstation layouts to increase space utilization and reduce process cycle time.
- Collaborate with operations teams to identify process constraints and execute solutions.
- Respond to daily process-related escalations.
- Conduct time studies and recommend updates to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) following change management processes.
- Improve workstation safety and ergonomics.
- Serve as liaison between operations teams and third-party vendors to coordinate routine activities and track open items/escalations.
- Support projects with:
- Data analysis
- Process mapping
- System enhancement proposals
- Handle ad hoc stakeholder requests (data reporting, root cause analysis, etc.).
- Pull data from multiple sources and convert insights into charts/graphs for storytelling and root cause analysis.
- Assist in solution testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Validate data and dashboards, providing insights for decision-making.
Required Skills
- Understanding of Lean principles, including:
- Cycle Time
- 8 Wastes
- Root Cause Analysis
- Just-in-Time (JIT)
- 5S
- DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to create process flow maps and SOP documentation.
- Experience conducting cycle time studies.
- Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Intermediate proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, Forms)
- Intermediate data analysis skills, including:
- Running SQL queries
- Building Tableau dashboards
- Ability to gather and synthesize data from multiple sources into actionable reporting.
- Strong learning agility with new tools and systems.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Vendor management experience.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Operations Management
- Industrial Engineering
- Supply Chain Management
- Business Analytics
- Minimum 5 YOE
- Skilled in Data analysis and understanding of data: candidate should be able to read SQL, as well as data reporting, root cause analysis, etc.
- Supply chain experience within logistics is necessary: this role is part of the IT logistics team
- Good communication skills with various vendors, and openness to learn and take on challenges
