Position Title: Maintenance Technician/Janitor
Work Location: New York, NY, USA 10029
Assignment Duration: 6+ months
Work Schedule: 1st Shift - 8:30-5:30pm
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary:
This is an entry-level lab support role focused on cleaning and sanitation. The person will wash lab glassware, maintain cleanliness, and follow strict safety and hygiene protocols in a lab environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store lab glassware equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, sinks, and storage areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Perform routine cleaning of working area and common spaces.
• Ensure work areas are organized, clean, and hazard-free.
• Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines, including the proper use of chemicals and equipment.
• Report safety concerns or maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Qualification & Experience:
• Education: High School Diploma Preferred but not Required
• Strong organization skills
• Able to follow Protocols
• High School Diploma Preferred but not Required
• Additional Physical Fit Test Required
