Role: Business Intelligence Analyst V

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Business Intelligence Analyst to support the Distribution M&A team. This role is responsible for analyzing complex datasets, supporting critical operational processes, and partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, manage multiple projects simultaneously, investigate and resolve issues independently. This individual will play a key role in supporting account matching and mapping processes enabling accurate data alignment and informed, data-driven decision-making across our organization.
 
Responsibilities:

• Support the account matching and mapping process ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key metrics and support business decision-making.
• Analyze complex datasets from various sources (including Salesforce, Tableau, and Snowflake) to identify trends and anomalies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Present findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Take end-to-end ownership of projects and tasks ensuring high-quality execution and timely delivery.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst with a strong focus on analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel for data analysis and modeling.
• Writing and executing SQL queries for data extraction.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce including Accounts, Opportunity data and pulling Salesforce reports.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• General Business Processes (Sales, Marketing, Service, Support).
• Fundamental IT concepts (databases, security, networking) and basic programming concepts.

 Must Have Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel for data analysis and modeling
• Writing and executing SQL queries for data extraction
• Working knowledge of Salesforce including Accounts, Opportunity data and pulling Salesforce reports
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
