Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and manage day-to-day accounting operations. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and driving process improvements across accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes
• Review reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheets, and key accounts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and leadership
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff (if applicable)
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
• Experience with financial reporting and close processes
• Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience (with leadership experience preferred)
