Job Description
Role: Senior Backend .Net Developer
Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months
Job Details:
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain backend services using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core
• Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices
• Deploy, configure, and optimize applications on AWS EC2
• Work with AWS services including S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and load balancers
• Collaborate with front end developers using React for integration and feature delivery
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the application stack
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and performance requirements common in financial systems
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts
Required Skills:
senior Backend .Net Developer (10+ years of experience)
• Senior level experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core
• Strong understanding of backend architecture and design patterns
• Hands on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS EC2
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Proficiency with Entity Framework Core
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD workflows
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in finance or financial services environments
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of React
• Experience with AWS ECS, EKS, or Lambda
• Exposure to infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with event driven architecture (SNS, SQS, Kafka)
• Background in automated testing frameworks
Work Environment / Additional Notes:
• Backend focused role; React knowledge is helpful but not required
• Experience with secure, regulated environments (finance) is a plus
• Collaboration with cross functional engineering teams
