Job Title: Contracts Analyst, Sr.
Assignment Duration: Direct Hire
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: 
Los Angeles, CA 90032
Interview Process: 2–3 steps via Video/Teams

Remote work is acceptable. Preference is given to candidates in PST or CST; however, EST candidates will be considered as long as they can work PST hours.

Equipment shipping available for candidates located 2+ hours driving distance from the office.
 
Summary:
In this role, the Contracts Analyst, Sr actively manages the contract review and negotiation process while providing guidance and consultation to our IS team, IS Leadership, and business owners as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Review, process, and negotiate IS-related contracts; provide redline review and recommendations based on our IS standards; flag legal and business issues for negotiation.
  • Negotiate directly with vendor and/or vendor attorneys or internal staff until consensus has been reached on all points, and provide coaching, review, and feedback of contracts for internal staff assistance until consensus has been reached on all points.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal customers and outside vendors.
  • Serve as a point of contact for all contractual matters: ensuring timely review, approval, and execution of all IS-related contracts.
  • Coordinate the processing of documents through our internal IS and Procurement processes.
  • Prepares and disseminates status updates to all concerned parties regarding contract review, compliance, modifications, etc.
  • Maintain our contractual records and documentation in our IS Contracts Database and IS Contracts tracker to ensure documentation of key correspondence, document changes, internal business, and legal approvals.
  • Provide and promote high standards of professionalism and leadership throughout all transactions, appropriately representing business philosophies, protocols, and standards
  • Persistent attention to detail, while maintaining the overall status of all projects
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with all policies that are applicable to the job function and participating in mandatory training promptly.
Minimum Education:
  • Bachelor's degree OR Paralegal certificate or J.D.
Minimum Experience:
  • 5 years Contract review and processing experience with substantial knowledge of legal terms and conditions, and/or experience interacting with IS vendors, solutions, and contracts
Other duties as assigned.
  • Selected Contract Manager may act as team lead.
