Job Title: Workday HRIS Analyst – Payroll
Location: Milwaukee, WI Hybrid
Assignment: Full-time

Position Overview
The Workday HRIS Analyst (Payroll) will support and maintain Workday Payroll configurations, ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance across a complex, union-heavy environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining payroll integrity while supporting ongoing system updates and business changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Workday Payroll, including earnings, deductions, and payroll processes
• Support payroll-related system updates tied to union agreements and regulatory requirements
• Troubleshoot payroll system issues and perform root cause analysis
• Partner with Payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate and timely processing
• Support integrations related to payroll (e.g., benefits, 401k, external vendors like Fidelity)
• Assist with testing for payroll changes, releases, and enhancements
• Ensure data accuracy across payroll, time, and benefits systems
• Participate in audit and compliance activities related to payroll data

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Workday Payroll experience
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and system configuration
• Experience working in complex payroll environments (multi-state, union preferred)
• Experience supporting payroll integrations and downstream systems
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Preferred

• Experience supporting union-based payroll configurations
• Exposure to benefits/payroll integrations (e.g., 401k, vendors)
