Job Description
Title: IT Auditor III
Location: Toronto, Ontario - 4 days onsite, 1 WFH
Duration: 6 months
Description:
Reason for request/why opened: Volumes and standard practice due to high workload Scope of Project
BAU Team Size/Culture: working in a pod – 3 to 6 people Selling Points of Position (CVP)
Good experience of work and exposure to build a network
Internal team, external auditors, stakeholders
Degree/Level of Education: Undergraduate degree Certifications
Required: CIA, CPA
Nice to have Years of Overall Experience: 3 to 5 years experience
How will performance be measured: deliverables
Preferred/Ideal Candidate Background:
Auditing exp
Testing, governance control
Big 4 exp would be ideal
Exp ICFR/SOX testing
Public accounting exp
Will the contractor have access to any customer data?- Yes
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
Execute testing- inventory controls they will need to test. Walk through w/ business, testing the design effectiveness and operating effectiveness.
Send requests for info.
Internal status meeting/ meetings with clients & business Communicating w/ external audit partners Deliverables due every Friday- 2 to 3 controls to complete each week.
MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:
1.) Auditing exp – Internal or External
2.) Testing experience, governance control
3.) ICFR/Sox testing
4) Strong communication skills – ability to speak and manage stakeholders
4) Organized/ manage & prioritize workload.
NICE-TO-HAVE
1.) Big 4 experience
