Job Title - Instructional Designer - Change Management + Training Development
Hybrid Work Model - 4 days onsite and the manager is flexible on the remote day.
Preferred Work Location - Westlake, TX / Secondary Locations - Austin, TX and Lone Tree, CO
Duration – 12 months
Job Description –
Role Summary
This contractor focuses on translating change impacts into effective training and enablement materials that help employees successfully adopt new processes, tools, or ways of working.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with change managers to understand change impacts and learning needs
• Design and develop training assets such as:
o Instructor led materials
o Self paced learning content
o Job aids, quick reference guides, and process walkthroughs
• Support training plans and learning timelines aligned to change milestones
• Ensure training content aligns with change messaging and target behaviors
• Participate in testing and refinement of training materials based on feedback
• Support coordination with learning platforms or delivery partners as needed
Required Experience & Skills:
• 2–4 years of experience in training development, instructional design, or learning support roles
• Working knowledge of adult learning principles
• Experience creating structured training content and job aids
• Basic understanding of change management concepts and how training supports adoption
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
Nice to Have
• Experience with e learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) or LMS platforms
• Exposure to technology, process, or operating model changes
