Job Description
Position Title: Phlebotomist I
Work Location :832 Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA
Duration: 3+ months
Work Schedule
- Shift: 1st Shift
- Hours:
- Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Saturday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Position Summary
The Phlebotomist I will work in a Patient Service Center (PSC) in a team-based environment, performing blood draws and specimen collection while ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to established procedures.
Background & Context
This role is an interim hire to support extended lab hours and increased patient volume. There is potential for conversion based on performance and business needs.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform 25–30 blood draws per day
- Work with a diverse patient population, including geriatrics
- Collect, label, and process specimens accurately
- Ensure compliance with lab protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy/venipuncture experience
- Experience with geriatric patients
- Comfortable working in a team-based setting
Preferred:
- Lab Assistant experience
Compliance Requirements
- Color vision screening required
- No THC screening required
- No mandatory Flu or COVID vaccination
