Job Description
Job Title: IT Project Manager IV (Payments)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months (Possibility of extension and conversion)
Business Unit: 4 - Cnd Online & Mobile Tech
Schedule: M-F, core business hours – 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day
Location: Toronto, ON – 2 days in office, 3 days work from home (with the possibility of going 4 Days in)
Possibility of any Additional Upcoming Furlough: Standard
Scope of Project: new initiative/product – everyday advice journey – global transfers
Team Size/Culture: 15 people - collaborative, friendly, supportive work environment
Opportunity for extension, Client has a really great work environment – work life balance, lots of opportunity to network, supporting a new banking initiative
Degree/Level of Education: Post secondary is an asset
Certifications Required: PMP is an asset
Years of Overall Experience: 8+ years of experience
How will performance be measured: Hitting deliverables and timelines, communication, accounting for all PM work
MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:
1.) 8+ years of experience managing large and complex IT projects
2.) Strong knowledge of full life cycle development
3.) MS Project, Excel, Visio, Confluence, JIRA and PowerPoint (strong tracking skills)
SOFT SKILLS:
1.) Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
2.) Strong stakeholder management skills
3.) Strong interpersonal skills
NICE-TO-HAVE
1.) Banking or financial institution experience
2.) PMP certifications
3.) Overall payment project experience
4.) Clarity experience
Interview process: 2 steps, virtual and in person, 1 hour, panel
