Position Title: Research Assistant 1

Additional Skills/Qualifications:
Position will require experience with Medidata CTMS, utilizing EMRs, and prescreening potential participants. Position also requires adherence to no cell phone or talking policy while working
Position Summary:
• Research Assistant will support two protocols at the site. Support for one protocol will will last approximately six months and support for the other protocol will last 12 months.
• If there is no approval for an extension on the BI Preserved protocol, the total hours per week will will decrease to 24 hours.
• The site has a strict no cellphone/talking policy to protect PII/PHI.
Key Responsibilities:
• Visit scheduling and reminders;
• Upkeep regulatory binder and maintain study supplies;
• Only record vital signs (not obtain);
• Patient recruitment to include central campaign referral management, review/pre-screen charts from site EHR, pre-screen media referrals, and community outreach and engagement;
• Ongoing patient education/follow-up;
• Query resolution and data entry
