Job Title: Designer – Men’s Knits & Sweaters
Location: New York NY 10013
Duration: 3 Months

Job Description:
Responsible for creating original design concepts, including style, color, and fabric, based on current fashion trends. Develops sketches and may present seasonal design ideas. Analyzes trends and collaborates with sourcing and materials teams. Supports fit development by providing basic body block information and attending fit sessions. Typically reports to the Design Director. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent experience, along with relevant design experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify seasonal trends, silhouettes, fabrics, and techniques.
• Manage seasonal fabric orders down to the color level.
• Create black-and-white sketches and develop color versions.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings with Men’s Merchandising, Production, and Technical Design.
• Develop brand Paks/Tech Paks in partnership with Production and Technical Design.
• Communicate design and fit intent to ensure quality, execution, and margin goals are met.
