The Staff Pad has partnered with Modoc Medical Center, a critical access hospital in beautiful northeastern California, to hire a Physical Therapist. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who value patient-centered care, manageable caseloads, and a supportive team environment.

You’ll work across outpatient, inpatient, swing bed, and skilled nursing settings, providing one-on-one care and making a direct impact in a close-knit community.

What You’ll Do

• Provide prescribed physical therapy treatments and evaluate effectiveness
  
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
  
• Maintain accurate documentation and billing
  
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  
• Support pain management and coordinate patient care plans
  

What We’re Looking For

• Active California Physical Therapist license
  
• Current BCLS certification
  
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapy modalities
  
• Familiarity with infection control and safety practices
  
• A patient-first mindset and strong communication skills
