Shift Timings:Hybrid , 4 Days Onsite (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm)
Extension: Possible (if maternity leave is extended)
Conversion: Possible (if incumbent does not return)
Travel: 15-20% travel is required for this role.
Job Summary:
This position requires an entrepreneurial self-starter to manage the end-to-end asset management events program. The role oversees both large and small-scale events across in-person and virtual formats, primarily aimed at promoting investment products and strengthening relationships between sales teams and clients/advisors. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, execution, and continuous improvement of events, while providing marketing operations expertise, tracking performance, and making recommendations to senior sales leadership. The role reports to the Lead, Distribution Support and requires 15–20% travel.

Job Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for planning, execution, and continuous improvement of events, while providing marketing operations expertise, tracking performance, and making recommendations to senior sales leadership. The role reports to the Lead, Distribution Support and requires 15–20% travel.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage full event lifecycle including strategy, planning, execution, and measurement aligned to business priorities and ROI.
- Develop and manage project plans and event calendars covering training, sponsorships, client events, roadshows, due diligence events, and webcasts.
- Support event themes, agendas, speakers, and marketing/registration content.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal/Compliance, Digital, Product, and Event teams.
- Oversee event execution including vendors, contracts, logistics, and on-site delivery.
- Maintain audit controls, manage invoices, and resolve payment issues.
- Monitor performance, analyze data, and provide insights and recommendations.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and recommend improvements.
- Support process improvements, reporting, and compliance while managing ambiguity and complex tasks.
Must Have Skills:
- 5–7+ years of experience in large-scale event planning within asset management, FI, or banking.
- Experience in capital markets events and investment product promotion.
- Hands-on experience with Cvent, Formsite, or similar event tools.
- Knowledge of investment industry and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Office Suite and Webinar Software) tools.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Degree/diploma in marketing, advertising, or communications.
- Experience with event-based marketing teams.
- Exposure to industry trends, best practices, or content development.
Additional Requirements:
- 15–20% travel (domestic and international).
- Manage event budgets of $1.5M–$2.6M and support large sales targets.
- Work with multiple internal teams and external vendors.
- Ability to recommend improvements, review materials, and support process enhancements.
