Job Description
Location: Aguadilla, PR
Responsibilities:
- Works independently and with engineers in the development and improvement of the manufacturing process
- Collects and analyzes data related to manufacturing processes and/or manufacturing equipment
- Reads and interprets plans, blueprints, and schematics related to manufacturing operations
- Operates machines as needed to complete direct assembly tasks
- Supports factory equipment and related manufacturing processes
- Maintains related documentation and ensures updates are incorporated throughout manufacturing systems
- Operates assembly equipment in the factory
- Programs and debugs manufacturing equipment as needed
- May conduct training sessions on manufacturing equipment, procedures, and processes
- Applies developed knowledge of job skills, company policies, and procedures to complete a wide variety of assignments
- Works on moderately complex tasks requiring independent judgment and problem resolution
- Works under limited supervision with general instructions for new assignments
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required
- 4–6 years of related manufacturing experience
- Strong understanding of general and technical aspects of manufacturing processes
- Working knowledge of electro-mechanical technology and software
- Drafting skills
- Ability to perform in a moderately complex technical environment with minimal supervision
- May include highly experienced individuals with equivalent experience, even if non-degreed or degreed in an unrelated field
