Work environment: Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer. Travel to client’s sites may be required.
Team Name: IS Inventory Management - We are a fast paced, highly interactive group that values teamwork and good morale. Most of the team is in the office 5 days a week as we are responsible for handling physical inventory.
Job Requirements:
Required Skills and Abilities:
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in job related field.
Degree Equivalency: Bachelor's degree in job related field. Degree Equivalency: 4 years of IT or other job related work experience or an Associates degree and 2 years of IT or other job related work experience.
Preferred Work Experience: 2 years of asset management, procurement, workstation support, or other job related work experience.
Required Software and Other Tools: Microsoft Office.
Required Technologies: Excel (power query or other data analysis tool preferred)

Job Summary:
Duties/About the role:
- Supports the asset management life cycle of information technology hardware and/or software assets throughout the organization. Ensures appropriate reconciliation of assets across multiple company networks to maintain an accurate inventory in compliance with all regulatory entities.
- 50% Analyze and reconcile asset inventories and entitlements against discovery data, confirming assets are appropriately reported on network connection scans. Log, track and reallocate assets in the ITAM system through all stages of the asset lifecycle.
- 20% Create service tickets to correct any asset discrepancies found through the reconciliation process and monitor the ticket status to ensure completion and close out.
- 20% Develop, update and maintain valid inventory processes and procedures.
- 10% Create and coordinate software and/or hardware inventory reporting in support of compliance, inventory management activities, utilization, and budgeting functions.
Day to Day:
- This role supports the processing of IT hardware for disposal or reuse while ensuring accurate recordkeeping and system updates.
- Responsibilities include completing ServiceNow tasks, coordinating with customers and technicians, and maintaining required documentation.
- The position also performs data analysis to reconcile physical inventory with system records, validate sanitization artifacts, and provide reporting to support audits and compliance requests.

- Understanding of hardware/software licensing/maintenance models.
- Strong analytical, assessment and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, planning and time management skills, with ability to prioritize and multi-task assignments.
