Role Summary
The Events Manager will support the Director of Retail Strategies in planning and executing high-impact events, meetings, and conferences that enable teams to connect, align, and deliver against brand and business priorities. This role is responsible for integrating and operationalizing all event-related activities while partnering closely with Global Events, Store Operations, Field Leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution, strong engagement, and clear communication before, during, and after each event.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Store Operations, Field Leadership, and cross-functional teams to develop and deliver event strategies aligned with store and brand goals.
- Support end-to-end planning and execution of meetings, conferences, and offsites, including:
- Agenda development
- Stakeholder alignment
- Logistics coordination
- Timeline and budget management
- Run-of-show execution
- On-site event support
- Independently lead and manage event-based initiatives, ensuring alignment on success metrics, milestones, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, identifying dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
- Create compelling presentation materials, facilitator guides, and participant resources aligned with brand standards.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder feedback in a dynamic environment.
Key Competencies & Qualifications
- Proven experience managing large-scale meetings, conferences, or event programs with cross-functional coordination and executive-level support.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, concise, and impactful messaging.
- Creative problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and focus on delivering high-quality participant experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Experience with presentation and design tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, or similar platforms.
