Position Title: Payroll Associate
Work Location: North Chicago, Illinois, 60064
Assignment Duration: 3+ months
Work Arrangement: 100% onsite
Position Summary:
We need candidates specializing in "backend" payroll or after payroll has been processed.
This position is looking for candidates that have strong payroll tax processing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Previous work with state agencies
• Work on tax notices, work with tax providers, power of attorneys, and 3rd party authorizations
• Has multi-state tax experience
• Microsoft Office Suites (Excel)
• Communication: Clear and effective communication
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring all aspects of the project are thoroughly considered and executed
Qualification & Experience:
• High school with at least 2-3 years payroll tax experience
• Solid foundation of payroll taxes- federal, state and Fica taxes
• Tax filing exp- payroll tax filing
• Attention to detail
• Fast paced
• Project exp- testing exp
• Education- HS diploma
• Payroll exp
• Number of years of exp- 2- 3 years
• Top skills- attention to detail, self-motivation, consistency
• 100% onsite
• Team culture- Internal tickets communicating with outside tax vendors, testing, and attending meetings
